This free group run by Sue is open to everyone who would like to try writing for pleasure and for a sense of wellbeing. No experience necessary. Ideally bring a notebook and a pen you enjoy writing with.
Sue is a professional member of The National Association for Writers in Education and has extensive experience in running writing workshops with a focus on wellbeing. This group is about writing for yourself, not to show anybody, unless you want to and not for publication.
During the group session there will no pressure to read your work aloud. Sue will be sharing poems and short book extracts and giving gentle prompts for you to begin your writing journey.
This group is free, however we hope you’ll buy a tea, coffee and a cookie or cake when you come.
